What is Social Fork?

Social Fork is social dining. You basically meet new people over food in the best restaurants of your city. Our website allows you to view meals and the people attending it. Book online and meet up over food in a table of 5 to 12 people.

Why should I join Social Fork?

Build friendship, network, have discussions, share your interests... there are many reasons why you should join Social Fork! Simply put, if you are new to the city or simply want to make new friends, then go sign up!

How can I join a meal?

Simple! Select your favorite meal and book online. We will ask you to sign up if you are a new user.

How can I cancel my reservation? Can I be reimbursed?

Unfortunately you can't cancel your reservation. Our system does not support this function yet. You will therefore not be able to be reimbursed. However your ticket is transferable (you can give it to a friend, family, anybody you like).

What do I need before going to a restaurant?

Just print your meal ticket sent to you by email and show up at the restaurant on time.

Can I order more food or beverages in the restaurant?

Yes you can! You will receive a bill with any extras you have ordered at the end of the meal.

Do I need to sign up to book a meal?

Yes! Don't worry we only need very little information from you! If you want to get the full Social Fork experience, then don't forget to connect your facebook account!

When will Social Fork be in my city?

Email us at hungry@SocialFork.net and request that we come to your city. We are always looking for new places to spread the social dining love!

How do you charge me?

The price shown in each meal is the total price (tax included). There are no commissions or hidden fees. You will not be charged more. You will also not be charged at the restaurant if you don't order extra food or drinks.

What if I'm late to my meal?

Try not to be late as your food will be served at the time of the scheduled meal. People will start eating as the dishes are served. You might also feel uncomfortable joining in after the dinner has started - awkward, isn't it?

The Social Fork Meal Code

When will the meal be served?

Make sure you make it on time. Your meal will be served 10 mn after the scheduled time. That gives you space to be slightly late in case of traffic or any unexpected event. It happens to all of us once in a while ;)

Conversations

You can discuss anything you want... freedom of speech, right? However topics such as religion and politics can sometimes be very contentious.

What shall I bring?

Make sure you print out your meal ticket for proof of reservation. That's it!

Dress code

There is no specific dress code. Just be yourself.

More food or drinks?

Feel free to consume more but make sure you pay for it before leaving (Remember that you have only paid for a set meal shown on our website). The more drinks the merrier, especially over food and new people =). An individual bill will be given to you at the end of meal.

When does the dinner end?

We have agreed with our partner restaurant to let you time to appreciate your meal and socialize. Entrees, main courses and desserts will be served in a timely manner. Usually a meal lasts around 2hours.

For a more enjoyable experience?

Mobiles are a great technology and essential for all of us to communicate. However try not to be glued to your mobile. We are here to socialize! Oh and please, try to keep your cell phone in your bags or pockets and in silent mode. Thanks =)
